Teapot Art in the Post-industrial Era

In 2008, the inaugural Shanghai International Modern Teapot Art Biennale was launched. Ceramist Mr. Ge Jun brought together 33 artists from 32 countries across five continents in Shanghai, where they engaged in cross-cultural artistic dialogue through the medium of the teapot.

Under the theme "Harmony · Joy," the exhibition established a vital platform for international modern teapot art exchange, facilitated mutual learning between Chinese and foreign ceramic traditions, and infused new energy into the diversified development of Shanghai's arts and crafts.
