Diverse Expressions of Modern Teapot Art

In 2016, the fifth China Shanghai International Modern Teapot Art Biennale centered on the diversity of modern teapot art creation, bringing together artists with varied creative philosophies, material approaches, and cultural backgrounds.

The exhibition showcased the continuously evolving artistic language of modern teapot art and further reaffirmed the Biennale's ongoing mission to promote international exchange, encourage innovative practice, and honor the expressive autonomy of artists

This edition not only deepened collaborative interaction between Chinese and international ceramic communities but also infused new vitality into the international development of Shanghai's creative design industry.
