This edition formed part of the 2010-2014 international expansion centered on Shanghai exhibition platforms. Across the period, participation grew to more than 60 countries and 120 artists.
Hsu Hsu-lun and Cho Ming-shun brought lacquer ceramics and purple-clay innovation into the conversation, alongside works by Chinese artists including Ge Jun and Chang Shi.
